Notes From a Dragon Mom »

I don’t have much to say about this, other than that Emily’s pieces is so simple, moving, heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time.  What courage, what amazing fortitude she must have to face what she does every day.  I consider how I currently live life as a Mother to be with a lot of focus on taking in the moments, of soaking them up as I get them and living deeply in them.  After reading this, I rededicate myself to that notion- that as my son grows I must remember to live fully in the moments, to not rush, to slow down and breath my precious creation in as he grows thankfully healthy, thankfully thankfully thankfully.  Life is so beautifully short.  As Matt said, “a reminder that all we have for sure is what’s right in front of us.”
